Best SUV to go anywhere!
By JaxTeller | on Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Quiet and comfortable ride. Spacious with luggage room. Many storage compartments. Unique looks and definitely British styling. It's not built for speed but it keeps up and will go anywhere snow, mud, sand and water. Comfortable tank. Big engine bay. Better have a job if you want a land rover. Not economical as per mpg. Repairs can be very expensive but if you properly maintain and quickly address issues than you won't be in the shop much. Definitely try to learn and fix things yourself. If you want a truck you may as well get an SUV. You need to pull a boat? May as well get an SUV. You like the gun range than get an SUV. You like road trips than get an SUV. You have some money? Than you buy a Land Rover.… - 5.0
Love hate relationship.
By Redd | on Thursday, January 31, 2019
Bottom line it is still one of the coolest looking cars out there. There should only be two types of Disco owners. One that does all the work himself or someone who can afford to pay for the work. Anyone in between should look for a different vehicle. With that being said, I love it. Turned me into a mechanic. Lol… - 2.0
Breaks down and costs alot to fix
By n | on Tuesday, January 22, 2008
Breaks down regularly. In just over 6 mo. I have had the colling system hoses go, the water pump break and the head gasket blow. With the head gasket blow they said it was likely that the sleve in the cylined slipped and fell and hence the engine was likely blown but couldn't tell for sure until they did the 2k in work for the head gasket. In short, Land Rovers are not reliable, constantly break down and cost an arm and a leg to fix. They take premium gas and full synthetic oil meaning maintenance and operation is expensive as well. Paired with very poor gas mileage as they age they are a very bad buy.…
